The Castle of the Cedars is our home on Cedar Creek in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, which has been designed with the business and destination traveler in mind who needs more than a hotel for a longer period of time. From those who are relocating, extended business travel, short-term project assignments, expats/inpats, commuters or rotators, and even those who are on an extended vacation or had the unfortunate happen to their own home.....we'd like to make our home, your's. Our all-inclusive original homestead of 1885 has been completely redesigned, restored, and updated with modern conveniences and brand new construction throughout the interior, from new windows to solid hardwood flooring, along with the exterior and yard, bringing nostalgia and history into the 21st century. We custom designed our home with upscale entertaining in mind and the professionally landscaped patio brings the living space outdoors. Within walking distance to the historic downtown of Cedarburg, guests can experience a Normal-Rockwell-type community, only 30 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee and only 30 minutes south of Kohler, home to PGA tournament golf courses. Welcome to our home - a slice of history -- Frederick Leuning immigrated to the area in 1843 and built a cabin near Cedar Creek and called the cabin ‘Cedarburg’ which meant “ the castle of the cedars.” Y
